Exactly a year has passed, and I was really amazed by how much the company has grown; its range of Jewellery designs and loose diamond cuts has widely expanded. I am pleasantly astonished by the huge variety of amazing collections, my cart is always full of its offerings. Hence, I am almost 100% certain that you may come across some very serendipitous findings (well, I surely did!) that are to your liking at OUROS Jewels.
Foray into the NFT world
Another exciting news is the OUROS Jewels' partnership with Artifest🎉 👾This partnership will make OUROS Jewels high quality handcrafted lab diamond jewellery accessible in the Non-Fungible Token (NFT)'s world. If I am not wrong, OUROS Jewels definitely has a first mover advantage in this realm.
What I have purchased
I finally succumbed to the temptations of 2 items from the store. My 2nd purchase from OUROS Jewels was an alluring heart shaped pink lab diamond from the
Color Lab Loose Diamond collection. I noticed that the heart shaped diamonds are one of the best sellers, since they are usually snapped up quickly after being released.
My 3rd purchase is the beautiful emerald diamond ring from the Fancy Diamond Band collection. I have always wanted to own an emerald eternity diamond ring or bracelet. Since this was my first time colorless diamond purchase, I have opted for the basic emerald ring.

After my order was confirmed, he and his team kept me updated throughout the process, by confirming with me the CAD image file, the video of my emerald band and the tracking number after my order was shipped. 📦

My pink heart shaped lab diamond purchase took around 2-3 weeks to arrive while my emerald ring purchase took around a month to manufacture and arrive by standard UPS shipping. The emerald band could have been a week earlier as my order was stuck in Hong Kong for a week. Therefore, if you do not want to wait, do remember to top up and opt for express shipping via UPS and DHL. Both my orders arrived in a no frills package, in an iconic navy blue jewelry box.

Diamond tester
Both the pink heart lab diamond and the emerald band passed the diamond tester test with flying colors! I thought this was a rather significant and important test, since there were false claims that the lab diamonds carried by OUROS Jewels are fake. I am glad to put these false rumours to rest, since all of my 3 purchases passed the diamond tester with flying colors.
Clarity, color, cut and dimensions
No visible inclusions are found in both the pink heart lab diamond and the emerald band when they are placed under my 30x scope. Hence, both of them are within the VS grade. 👍
As for the color, I was honestly a tad disappointed when the pink heart diamond revealed to be a vivid pink, with an orange tone, instead of fancy intense pink. It has appeared as a rosy intense pink-red in my monitor and I even confirmed the color with Vijay 's team prior purchase.
However, it turns out to be a misunderstanding on both parties. This will serve as an expensive learning lesson for my future uncertified colored diamond purchases. Fortunately, the vivid orangey pink diamond is still pretty. Nevertheless, I would recommend that you stick to IGI certified colored lab diamonds, if you are quite particular about the color tone and intensity.
Nevertheless, the emerald diamond band really delivers! It appeared slightly whiter and brighter than my mined, E color GIA graded minded criss cut diamond. The prongs are aligned perfectly and there were only minuscule scratches on the ring shank under the x30 loupe. Honestly, I did not expect myself to fall so madly in love ❤️ with the emerald diamond band. 👍
Humm... I should have purchased the full or half eternity emerald band since it is soooooo beautiful. 🤦
Next is the assessment of the cut. The cut for the pink appears to be very good. Since it is a fancy shaped diamond, the cut grade harder to deduce when it comes to the ASET and IDEAL images.
The IDEAL image shows a lot of red that is more or less evenly distributed throughout the diamond. There aren’t any large areas that are translucent or white, thus not much indications of substantial light leakage. Minimal contrast which means that the color is evenly distributed throughout the face-up diamond. 👍
The ASET scope shows a fair bit of red around (intense light return), a fair bit of green around too (less intense light return) with a bit of light leakage in the middle. The vivid pink heart diamond also fluorescence a strong bright, orange under the UV lighting. ✨
The best performing emerald cuts should have some black and a lot of red to pink evenly balanced around the diamond for the IDEAL scope. These five stones represent very good (left) to fair stones (right). Hence, you can see the performance of the OUROS Jewels emerald band ring is good.
As for the ASET images, look for high intensity of reds and greens with proper distribution and contrast. Here is a comparison of well emerald diamonds from left (best to right (worse). Hence, surprisingly the light performance of the OUROS Jewels emerald diamonds seems to be quite alright.
The dimensions of the both orders are as accurate and described in the product description pages when they are measured with the vernier callipers. The emerald band is also correctly stamped with 10k gold marking. 👍
My Thoughts
I was slightly let down by the color of the pink heart diamond. However, this was because its color was misrepresented in my color monitor. Nevertheless, the quality of the colorless lab emerald diamond band from OUROS Jewels did not disappoint and superseded my expectations! In fact, its quality and workmanship is really commendable!
Customer royalty programme
As a returning customer, I hope that OUROS Jewels will consider implementing a customer royalty programme to reward returning customers. This is because apart from specialising in high-end wedding and engagement Jewellery, OUROS Jewels is also innovating to make better, casual, daily accessible designs. Therefore, a customer loyalty programme will better engage its customers with Rewards, while Retaining and driving Repeat purchases, especially for everyday lifestyle jewellery. 😃
More customer touchpoints
Lastly, like most diamond vendors which I have purchased from, I think that providing more customer touchpoints will make me relate to the OUROS Jewels brand better. Furthermore, review blog posts (I can't find any, so I decided to post one) will give additional insights and assurance for the potential customers who are considering their purchases. Also, making news blasts (via emails or blog posts) on the latest product releases or its inspiration behind the innovative designs will help to increase mindshare of its brand and footprint.
