NEW WORLD DIAMONDS REVIEW 2021 MAR

survey service

 NOT RECOMMENDED FOR INTERNATIONAL BUYERS

I will say that New World Diamond (NWD) does not deliver in terms of after sales service. The main reasons for my dissatisfaction include:

1. Halfway through my upgrade discussion, none of the staff apologized when they suddenly break the news to the changes in the polies and ghosted me. Background: although the NWD has promised x2 upgrades in your lifetime even for international customers, they have suddenly removed this option on 20th May 2021. Please do NOT proceed with your purchase if this option is critical to you. Although NWD is aware that it has assured that the upgrade policy applies to international buyers prior my purchase, the management has refused to honor its promise to me.

2. Their staff, T was even sarcastic when I tried to purchase, instead of upgrading and needless to say, also ghosted me too. Background: Halfway through my discussion with her, she said "Your review was brought to my attention. After reading it and there you are encouraging others to shop at Brilliant Earth instead of us, I'm surprised you are even enquiring about our product." The context of my email. I decided to continue to go ahead with my purchase with NWD with another staff, even though the upgrade is no longer viable, since the another staff has stopped replying my email. The international shipping costs from Brilliant Earth is $50 USD, compared to $85 by NWD.

3. Instead of addressing this issue with me professionally, they have quietly removed the shipping to Singapore option. A lot of friends have read my reviews and some have even went ahead to purchase from them. Recently, they have brought to my attention that NWD no longer delivers to Singapore and was upset for being mislead by my review.

I have since removed the entire review section.

I have been searching for a pink diamond since Oct/Nov last year 2020 and even taken my search at James Allen and Leibish but without much success. Therefore, I decided to try my luck at LIGHTBOX but it was a huge disaster (will blog about that later). Finally, after coming across this post; Bought a lab pink diamond ring from New World Diamonds, I made up my mind to give it another try at New World Diamonds (NWD). Finally, I am glad to share that my search for the dream Pink diamond has ended!

What I have purchased

0.87 Carat, Fancy Intense Pink Round, VS2, Strong Blue Fluorescence
