TAKA JEWELLERY DIAMONDS REVIEW 2021 OCT

Taka Jewellery has been my go to store for my bling quickie fixes when I did not shop online. Recently, we popped over a branch near my neighbourhood and an interesting mined baguette cut, art deco diamond bracelet caught my eye. In the end. my husband gifted it to me.

What I have purchased

TAKA Jewellery Brillia Diamond Bracelet

Gold Type: 18K White Gold
Diamonds: 1.23 carat
Length: 17cm
Gold Weight: 4.88g
Color: G,H
Clarity: VS2, SI1

Quality of the service

2.5 out of 5 (Fair)

I almost wanted to give the rating a "1.5", since the sales assistant at the branch could not bother to followup, despite us showing genuine interest in getting the bracelet. I even had to ask her a few times over the phone on the costs of making the remaining bracelet into the necklace, after it has shortened into 5.5". However, she did not even call back even though that branch is not a busy one filled with customers. In the end, we dropped by the outlet in the City and the sales assistant was very helpful. We finally got what we wanted. However, I would not recommend Taka Jewellery to anyone who expects a decent service.

Waiting time and collection

3.5 out of 5 (Fair)

It was a straightforward modification; shortening the bracelet and making the rest into a pendant, but it takes 10 working days to complete this. The pendant can't lie flat and yet, these modifications have set us back nearly a hundred bucks.

Quality of the product

4 out of 5 (Good)

There are not much inclusions found under the 30x magnification loupe. However, hairline cracks are seen at the certain ends of the baguette diamonds. Nevertheless, the overall diamonds look very white and sparkly.

My Thoughts

Taka Jewellery is a good place to look for unusual fine jewellery designs and affordable gifts. If you know what you should look out for, you will definitely chance upon some bargain deals at an amazing price! However, manage your expectations and do not expect satisfactory or outstanding service from all its staffs.
